Welcome

Thank you for your interest in my services as part of your journey.  It is my goal, through hands-on education, to help you better understand your body and health concerns.

I am not a medical doctor. I am an applied anatomist specializing in fascia and lymphatics. I hold a doctorate in Integrative Medicine. My background is in gross anatomy, neuropsychology, psychoneuroimmunology, kinesiology, and developmental movement patterning. I cannot and do not diagnose any conditions; rather I aim to help you understand and work through your healthcare concerns.

When there is no diagnosis, Somatic Integration Analysis can help locate sources of pain or limitation and potentially offer suggestions and/or resources toward reversing these patterns.

There is no medical license in Ohio that covers this scope of practice.

My organization, Integrate Columbus (a 501c3 charitable organization) helps people find the resources and teams they need to move their health situation forward on a positive, productive path.

My office is located just minutes off 270 and SR 3 in Westerville:

924 Eastwind Drive

Westerville, OH 43081

I welcome you to be in contact with me between sessions with updates, questions, concerns, and conversation. What happens between visits is often as interesting, if not more so, than what happens during our time together. I check emails (melinda@IntegrateColumbus.org) and voicemails daily (614.563.0997), and hope to respond to text messages throughout the day (614.563.0997).

I intend to be on time, but apologize if I am running behind; it is important for me to give everyone the attention needed to address unique concerns. Thank you for your patience if I am running late.

I no longer keep a cancellation list, but post last minute openings that come up on Facebook.  Feel free to send me a friend request to get notifications.

I look forward to working with you!

In health,

Dr. Melinda Bekos

What am I doing to keep myself and you safe?

I have not gotten a COVID-19 shot.  If my choice concerns or interests you, please read more in my blog where you will also find links to research and other information.

Common Areas:

  • You are welcomed to wait in your vehicle and bypass the waiting area/common spaces. If this is your preference, please text me when you arrive (614-563-0997) so I can invite you in when ready. Otherwise, I will come to the waiting area to find you when I am ready to have you come back.
  • I request that you please wash your hands thoroughly upon arrival and/or use hand sanitizer available in the waiting area.
  • Masks are available if you need one. I am happy to wear a mask as well. This is all your choice and to your comfort.
  • The common areas in the building are cleaned regularly with Zep Spirit II detergent disinfectant (thanks to our friends at Hina Environmental).

Clinical Space:

  • A True HEPA H13 medical grade active carbon filter air purifier is kept running in my clinical space allowing air to be turned over approximately every 5 minutes in my treatment space.
  • Disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer are available for you to use to your comfort and convenience.
  • I thoroughly wash my hands before and after each visitor arrives/leaves as well as before and after any hands-on work specifically.
  • Between each visitor, all surfaces in my clinical space are wiped down with Clorox disinfectant wipes and newly laundered linens are switched out.  Any props that may be used in session are also sanitized after each person's use.
  • Alcohol wipes are provided for wiping down credit cards prior to and after processing.
